The most dangerous and safest cities in Europe have been named

The European Commission recently released a report on the quality of life in different cities. It also mentioned the most dangerous and safest places in Europe.
To prepare the report, experts surveyed hundreds of thousands of residents and expats from different countries. The results were somewhat predictable. Nevertheless.
The safest cities were named in Scandinavian countries. Ljubljana, Bordeaux, Cluj-Napoca, Antalya and others also made it onto the list. The least safe were Rome, Naples, Athens, Liege, Marseille, Istanbul and Sofia. More than half of their residents do not feel comfortable walking alone or at night.
A higher level of security was noted in small cities with a population of up to 250,000 people. In cities with a population of over a million, the situation is worse.

For example, in France, 82% of Bordeaux residents said they felt safe, while in Marseilles this figure was only 43%. The situation is similar in Belgium (73% in Antwerp, 44% in Liege) and Turkey (44% in Istanbul, 80% in Antalya).
