How much will it cost to spend a holiday in Bulgaria this summer?

How much will it cost us to spend a holiday in Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast this season? Hoteliers and tour operators by the sea assure that there will be no sharp increase in prices, despite the growth of the average salary and inflation. The industry predicts that if there is an increase in prices for tour packages, it will not exceed 10%. Thus, an overnight stay in a four-star hotel will cost from 80 to 120 leva per night.
“At this stage, there is no increase in prices for vacations, now everything is the opposite. Before the start of the season, there are discounts for early booking, which can reach 30%. We announced prices for a year in advance. No self-respecting hotelier will raise prices right now. On the contrary, if there is early booking, tourists pay for these bookings, and hoteliers can work with this money, and not use a credit resource,” said hotelier Yancho Parushev.
“Increasing the minimum wage will, of course, affect the tourism business to some extent, especially in terms of summer tourism. The main costs are seasonal workers. But we can’t talk about a sharp increase in any case. Colleagues say that at this stage, prices for both accommodation and recreation will increase by 5-10%,” added Kristina Slavova from the Burgas Regional Tourism Chamber.
At the same time, it is noted that prices for umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach will increase due to an increase in concession fees from the state.
